Better Baseline

Plain answers on training, recovery and what the research actually says.

About Better Baseline

Better Baseline answers one question per article, in plain language, and puts the answer in the first paragraph. The rest of each piece is the evidence behind it and the places where the evidence runs out.

We cite primary sources wherever they exist: trials, regulators and the papers themselves rather than summaries of summaries. Every article carries the date it was last checked, and we update pieces when the evidence moves.

Nothing here is medical advice, and we do not sell anything on this site. If something you read here is relevant to you, take it to your own clinician.
